What the BC Hydro Battery Rebate Covers

BC Hydro offers residential rebates of up to $5,000 for eligible battery energy storage systems. For residential projects, the rebate is calculated at $500 per kWh of installed storage capacity, up to a maximum of $5,000, and cannot exceed 50% of the total installed cost, including labour and materials. The minimum eligible storage size is 5 kWh.
